Alice themed scavenger hunt brings Wonderland to life for World Book Day
To celebrate this year’s school production, World Book Day took on a whimsical twist on Thursday 5th March with an Alice in Wonderland themed scavenger hunt. The event saw pupils across the school channeling their inner detectives as they embarked on a mission to track down characters suspected of stealing the Queen of Hearts' tarts.
During break and lunchtime, staff members were stationed across the site, waiting to be interrogated by eager groups of pupils. To solve the mystery, participants had to locate specific staff members and ask them exactly what type of baked good they had been eating.
The excitement began at break time, when pupils collected their scavenger hunt forms and began deciphering a series of clues designed to lead them to the "culprits." The atmosphere was electric as pupils hurried to discover who among the staff had been "caught" with a stolen tart.
The event proved to be incredibly popular, drawing a large and enthusiastic crowd. Whether fueled by an intense love of literature or the competitive pursuit of winning sweets, the pupils' engagement made the afternoon a resounding success. A huge thank you to the staff who participated and helped bring the world of Wonderland to life for our pupils.
