Summer success: Eloise strikes international Gold on the water

Following a year of exceptional hard work and dedication, recent leaver Eloise H capped off an incredible summer by achieving international glory with the Great Britain U19 rowing squad and etching her name into local club history.

After navigating a rigorous, year-long trial process, Eloise earned a coveted spot on the GB U19 team to compete at the prestigious Coupe de la Jeunesse (European Junior Championships) in Lucerne, Switzerland. Representing Great Britain in the Junior Women’s Eight, Eloise and her crew delivered a phenomenal performance to secure the Gold medal. Her victory was instrumental in helping the GB squad capture both the Girls Trophy and the Overall Team Trophy.

Eloise’s international success follows a stellar domestic season representing Marlow Rowing Club, where she accumulated an impressive tally of three Gold medals and one Silver medal throughout the year. A major highlight came at the Henley Women’s Championships, where Eloise secured Gold in the Junior Double, marking the first time Marlow Rowing Club has ever won that trophy.

The entire school community extend their warmest congratulations to Eloise on her extraordinary accomplishments. Race video footage is available to watch Eloise's winning performance in action.

Exceptional Netball success for Martha

We are delighted to share some fantastic sporting news from our school community. Following a series of impressive performances at the recent Netball Pathway Trials, Martha has earned places in two of the region's most prestigious talent pathways. In an outstanding display of skill and athletic ability, she received offers from both Team Bath and Loughborough for their U17 Player Development Programmes (PDP). What makes this accomplishment even more remarkable is that Martha secured these offers a year early, competing successfully against older, highly experienced players. Following her trials, she has officially accepted her place with Loughborough U17 PDP. This phenomenal success is a direct result of her strong work ethic, determination and relentless drive to improve. The entire school community is immensely proud of her achievement and looks forward to supporting her as she takes this exciting next step in her elite sporting journey. Congratulations, Martha
