14th JulyDr Frost Maths workshop
On Wednesday, 8 July, St Clement Danes was buzzing with excitement as we welcomed the brilliant Jamie from Dr. Frost Maths for a fantastic afternoon of learning and collaboration. The day was split into two wonderful sessions:
Year 10 Problem-Solving: Sixty of our amazing Year 10 pupils jumped headfirst into a 1.5-hour problem-solving workshop. It was a massive success! The pupils brought incredible energy and enthusiasm to the room, absolutely smashing through some really tough mathematical challenges.
Teacher Training & Networking: Later in the afternoon, we opened our doors to over 40 maths teachers from 15 local schools. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, share ideas, and hear all about the latest innovative ways to bring maths to life in the classroom.
The Verdict: Both sessions were a total triumph! It was wonderful to see our pupils stretching their brains, followed by teachers from across the region collaborating and taking fresh inspiration back to their own schools. A huge thank you to Jamie and everyone who took part!
