GCSE Results Day 2025
We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding GCSE results achieved by our pupils this year. An impressive 46% of all grades awarded were at 7–9, with 14% at the highest grade of 9. Remarkably, five pupils achieved a full set of straight 9s. Congratulations go to Slava B, Kaydance C, Sofia K, Kristina McD and Maisie M on this exceptional accomplishment.
It was a joy to see so many families join in the celebrations, including one parent who flew in from Hong Kong to be with their daughter. Overall, results are in line with last year’s excellent performance. Well done to our Year 11 cohort, these outcomes ensure they are well placed to take their next steps with confidence.
Headteacher Mr. Sutherland praised the year group, saying: “Our pupils have shown remarkable resilience, determination and ambition. These results reflect not only their commitment but also the support of dedicated staff and families. I couldn’t be more proud of what they have achieved.”
We look forward to welcoming the majority of our Year 11s into the Sixth Form, and we send our very best wishes to those pursuing new opportunities at colleges, training providers or apprenticeships. As a school, we take pride in every pupil’s journey and hope they will remain connected as valued members of our Old Danes community.
