Year 7 Boys Football Team Set High Standards!

Mr Birkett, Head of PE Faculty, writes the following account of how well the Year 7 boys have progressed since the start of the academic year.

The Year 7 boys have made a fantastic start to their time at St Clement Danes.

After an early defeat to Croxley Danes School, the boys have been unbeaten in competitive games after District league wins over Parmiters, Queens, St Joan of Arc, St Michaels & Rickmansworth, scoring 32 goals in 6 matches!

They have also, even more impressively, made it through to the County Cup semi final to play St Edmunds after half term with cup wins over Sir John Lawes & Roundwood Park.

The boys have been very committed to training & shown a great attitude to school football. It has been very hard to pick an A team with such strength in depth in the year group too. The B team have been very good in their friendly matches too. It makes for a very exciting few years ahead!
