The Art of Letter Writing

Last term in English, Year 7 were studying the art of letter writing. After practicing some letter writing skills, students were tasked with writing a letter and posting it to anyone of their choice. Some students decided to write to family members, others wrote to friends and many students chose to write to their heroes. We have been delighted to learn that two students received responses from some exciting house-hold names! Lara G in 7T, received a hand-written letter from Sir David Attenborough thanking her for her environmental efforts and Jonah K in 7T, received two signed photographs from Harry Kane! It has been very exciting for the students to receive these responses and is a brilliant recognition of their hard work.
