Footballers represent school for first time

On Tuesday 2nd October, the Year 7 and 8 girls' football B team played their first match of the season, seeing some students representing the school for the first time. Against an accomplished St Michaels A team, they made a great start and came in at half time level at 1-1, the goal scorer, Flo Wood, going on to be player of the match. Emily Drazin had a great game playing as goalkeeper for the first time in her life and there was a strong performance by Megan Hamilton in defence. In the second half, the stronger side went on to take the lead and ended up 8-1 winners. Well played to all the girls - Miss Clarke was very proud of you all.
