Wonderland Awaits: Rehearsals Underway
The Drama Hall is currently being transformed into a world of talking rabbits, eccentric hatters and temperamental royalty as preparations for the annual school production reach their peak. This year, the Performing Arts department is proud to present a bold and whimsical adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s classic, Alice in Wonderland.
This production marks one of the school's most ambitious projects to date, with approximately 146 pupils working tirelessly to bring the story to life. The scale of the production is a testament to the thriving arts community at our school, involving not just the performers on stage, but a full pupil design team and a technical production crew managing everything from intricate costumes to surreal set pieces.
To showcase the incredible depth of talent across the year groups, the school has cast two separate ensembles, The Hares and The Hatters, each bringing their own unique energy to the world of Wonderland.
The production kicks off with a special matinee for local primary schools on Monday 2nd March at 1:30 PM. This will be followed by four nights of evening performances held in the Drama Hall
Given the high level of pupil involvement and the excitement surrounding the show, Tickets are now sold out!
