23rd AprilProduct Design Students Shortlisted for Design Ventura
We are delighted to announce that our Product Design student team: Amar T, Alex S-G, Jack G in Year 10 were shortlisted as one of the top ten teams in the prestigious Design Ventura competition. This outstanding achievement placed our students among the very best out of 207 schools from across the country who entered the nationwide challenge.
As part of the final stages of the competition, the team participated in the Pitching Day on 25th March 2025 at Deutsche Bank, London. The day was filled with excitement and invaluable professional experience. Students took part in engaging icebreaker activities, pitch coaching, and a formal presentation session, where they delivered a confident and well-prepared pitch to a panel of industry experts.
Our students rose to the occasion, demonstrating their creativity, teamwork, and innovative thinking under pressure.
We later returned for Celebration Day at the Design Museum on 23rd April 2025, where the winners were announced. Although we did not place in the top three, we are immensely proud to have been ranked in the top 10 - a remarkable accomplishment that truly deserves to be celebrated.
A huge congratulations to our talented Product Design team for their dedication, resilience, and outstanding performance throughout the competition. We look forward to seeing how their passion for design continues to grow and evolve.
We would also like to extend our thanks to Mr Hadley and Ms Preest for their support and resources as well as Miss Yalley for her support and coordination of the trip.
