Whipsnade Trip 2023

On the 7th of July we took our Year 8 students to visit Whipsnade Zoo, the largest zoo in the UK.

The students had a wonderful time exploring and learning about some unique habitats. They saw an abundance of animals, including cheeky chimps and bold ostriches. The highlights of the visit were meeting a baby giraffe and the fantastic bird show. Whipsnade Zoo is a hub of conservation activity, from crucial breeding programmes for endangered wildlife like the scimitar-horned oryx to native species conservation.

It was great to see the students understanding the vital role that Whipsnade plays in the conservation of endangered species.
