Senior netballers start their season in style

The Senior netball team got their season off to a winning start last Thursday, beating old foes and regular rivals for the league, the Royal Masonic School, 10-7. The players were thrilled with the victory, which clearly marks their intention to win the district league this year. With a squad of 12 working incredibly hard as a team to secure the win, the movement around the court was excellent, with patient, precise passing, lots of turnovers and forcing of errors from the opposition. Player of the match was captain Bobbi Francis who had a dominating role as Goal Defence. The girls were particularly pleased to be able to start this season in their newly purchased kit, which came courtesy of the Anchor Fund and the generosity of parents who donate to it.
