Year 7 Thavish Plays for Tottenham!

I recently had the wonderful opportunity over the Christmas break to travel to Germany with my football academy, Tottenham Hotspur, as an Under 12 to take part in a Futsal competition against really good teams from all over the country and a 9-aside match against Hertha Berlin.

It was a great opportunity and good to experience a different culture. We managed to tour the city of Berlin where we visited the Olympiastadion and the Berlin Wall. Unfortunately, we didn’t win the tournament but really enjoyed playing against the teams we wouldn’t normally face back home.

The Futsal tournament was fast paced and exciting, full of action and really challenging for me and my team mates. I think overall we performed really well, and it was an unforgettable and magical experience for me!
