Mrs Kirby wins Herts FA Grassroots Volunteer 2020 Award!

Congratulations to Maths Teacher and Duke of Edinburgh Manager Mrs Kirby, whose commitment to volunteering has been recognised by Hertfordshire Football Association- as winner of the Herts FA Grassroots Volunteer of the Year 2020!

The award is given to someone who positively contributes to football in the community for the enjoyment of others, and whom is recognised as a role model in their community. Mrs Kirby was nominated for her devotion to coaching football to Chipperfield Corinthians ( https://twitter.com/CorinthiansYFC) girls' teams in her local community - when she encourages the girls to play every Saturday morning in all weathers!

A great achievement by Mrs Kirby- and one that all the young people that she supports will be delighted to hear about!

Please see the video below of Mrs Kirby being interviewed about her award.
