successfully established its third stage
of Language College status in 2007.
French, German, Spanish and Italian
are studied from Key Stage 3 through
to A level. Beginners’ language
courses including Russian are also
offered in the Sixth Form.
Strong links with European schools are firmly in place, with exchange visits in Years 9 and 10 and work experience in Year 12. The faculty offers both single and dual award at GCSE, and Asset Languages at all levels. Results at GCSE have been well above the national average. The faculty also offers master classes for both its own students and others across the county.
