Economics & Business

Both of these subjects, as well as Applied Business, are offered at A level, with Business Studies, a GCSE option. Our aim is to combine academic excellence with preparation for the world of work through a focus on presentation, teamwork, ICT application and communication. There are significant links with the outside world and Sixth Form students have the opportunity to participate in the Young Enterprise Scheme.

Information Communications Technology

St Clement Danes boasts excellent ICT facilities that far exceed the recommended provision for schools. Each faculty area has access to advanced resources to support learning at all levels – and the subject is a regular feature of curriculum provision. On joining the school, all students follow an ICT course which equips them with the skills they need to meet curriculum expectations and to make best use of the facilities.

ASDAN

This vocational qualification is offered at Key Stage 4. This is the equivalent of a GCSE and enables students to develop life skills such as teamwork and problem solving.
